On Feb. 17, 2009, federal law
requires that all full-power television broadcast stations
stop broadcasting in analog format and broadcast only
in digital format. This means that after that date all
TV sets not equipped with digital tuners will no longer
be able to receive programming through rooftop or rabbit-ear
antennas.
